
Why Your Commercial Oven Needs a Faster Heat Response
Most convection ovens work by heating up the air, which then heats up your dough. The problem? That takes forever. If you’re running a high-volume bakery, every second counts. Every time you swing that oven door open, you lose a massive amount of heat. Waiting for the air to warm back up kills your momentum and slows down your entire line. The Trade-off: Power and Heat
We’ve picked specific Nichrome grades to make sure you get a concentrated burst of shortwave radiation. It penetrates the crust quickly, giving you that perfect finish without the long wait. But here is the catch: this much power creates intense, localized heat. You have to be careful with your power distribution. If your oven chassis isn’t properly vented or insulated for this kind of load, you’re asking for trouble. You could end up warping your housing or, worse, frying your control boards.
