If you’re running high-speed PET blowing, you know the struggle. It’s not just about cranking up the heat; it’s about where that heat actually goes. The real headache is trying to get energy into the center of the preform wall without torching the outside. That’s exactly why we built our replacement lamps. We wanted to bridge that gap. The trick to deep penetration Most standard lamps just dump heat onto the surface. You end up with that annoying “pearlescent” look or walls that are thick in some spots and thin in others. We did things differently. We shifted the emission spectrum so the infrared waves actually sink deeper into the polymer. You get a uniform melt all the way through. To make sure none of that energy is wasted, we use high-purity quartz glass. It just works better. The hardware side of things These are drop-in replacements. No fussing with measurements or worrying about fit—they match the original Husky specs perfectly. We use R7s or SK15 connectors because they stay tight. There’s nothing worse than a loose connection causing arcing and killing a lamp prematurely. Depending on your power supply, we’ve got a few different wattage and voltage options. Just a heads-up: if you go with a high-wattage setup to shave time off your cycles, keep an eye on your cooling fans. If the fans can’t keep up with the extra heat, you might fry your lamp sockets. What happens on the floor These tubes are built for the grind. They handle the constant heating and cooling of a high-speed line without breaking a sweat. Since the output stays stable, you aren’t constantly tweaking the oven settings. The heat soak is consistent, which means way less scrap in the bin. And when a tube finally gives up the ghost?
